Article tag: PICC intervention training model/ BIX-L69E/
The PICC (Peripherally inserted Central Catheter) interventional training model mainly addresses the problems of high operational difficulty, high risk, and limited teaching opportunities in clinical practice. Performing PICC catheterization on real patients poses risks such as puncture failure, vascular injury, and infection for beginners. Moreover, the number of operations is limited, making it difficult to meet the demand for repeated practice. This training model is designed based on the anatomy of upper limb blood vessels in the human body, clearly showing the course of veins, the position of valves and the path of catheters, enabling learners to intuitively understand key steps such as the selection of puncture sites, catheter advancement and fixation.
Through model practice, learners can repeatedly practice venipuncture, guide wire guidance, catheter insertion, flushing and sealing of the catheter, and fixation operations, thereby mastering the standardized procedures and operational skills. The model can also be used to simulate different vascular conditions, such as small or dilated blood vessels, to enhance trainees' ability to deal with complex clinical situations. Meanwhile, teachers can use the model for demonstration and immediate correction to help students form standardized operation habits. Overall, the PICC intervention training model not only reduces the clinical operation risks but also provides a safe, efficient and repeatable skills training platform for medical students and nursing staff, significantly enhancing the proficiency and clinical application ability of vascular intervention operations.
