The advanced pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation simulation manikin operation standard is mainly used to train and standardize the practical skills of trainees in first aid. First of all, the simulator should be placed flat on a hard operating table. After checking the safety of the environment, confirm the consciousness and breathing state of the simulator. During the operation, trainees need to accurately master the position of external chest compression, which is generally located at the midpoint of the line connecting the two nipples. They can either stack their hands or press with one hand, with the depth approximately one-third of the anteroposterior diameter of the chest cavity. The frequency should be maintained at 100 to 120 times per minute.
During the artificial respiration process, it is essential to ensure that the airway is open. The head-tilting and chin-lifting method can be adopted, and a breathing airbag or mouth-to-mouth approach should be used. Each breath should last for about one second. Observe that there is a distinct rise and fall of the chest cavity. The ratio of compression to artificial respiration is usually set at 30:2. When performing CPR on children by two people, it can be changed to 15:2 to improve circulation and ventilation efficiency.
This simulation manikin is equipped with a feedback system that can display the pressing depth, frequency and blowing effect in real time. The operator should make timely adjustments based on the feedback. After completing the operation, a review should be conducted to check whether the process complies with the standards, so as to enhance the trainees' proficiency and standardization in real rescue operations.
